I have painted this beautiful Aquilegia vulgaris yesterday. And I’m sorry for tomorrow, but I already painted another one ;) I like this flowers, they are beautiful and seasonal, so I enjoy them when appear!
And they are very difficult to paint! I have changed a little composition of this original shot, and added a little more (this smaller flower on the right was cropped, but for me works better, when it’s fully visible). I also decided to eschew background greenery. Original flower has complicated structure and I wanted to make it a main object of this image.
My inspiration I’ve found in the gallery of Tim Szczygiel (on Instagram as: timszczygiel). Thank you very much!! :)
